Young Dancers
I was doing a bit of surfing on You Tube tonight and found a small piece I made for the graduate company Xida in Linz, Austria a few years ago. I didn't have any video evidence of this piece so here it is. All these dancers seem to have moved on to become dancers in several companies around Europe so that is cool. Talking about young dancers, I met a guy last Saturday in Antwerp who looked very familiar. It turned out that he danced for the Ludus Youth Dance Company when he was 16 and I worked with him at the time. He then went on to train at Laban Centre London and is now furthering his training at Parts in Brussels. Great to see young dancers making a way for themselves.
