Retina Sprang!
Retina Springs 08 was a great success for all involved. The 32 participants from across Europe danced their way through 2 weeks of creativity to achieve an impressive result. The final performance was at Sandfield Theatre on Friday 28th March and was a great success. Live music by Matt Marks was supplemented with singing from some of the dancers to accompany a feast of movement from the participants. Ages ranged from 11 to 42, experience ranged from little to professional, enthusiasm and commitment was top form from all. Two choreographers Antje Hildebrandt and Eleni Edipidi also created their own work in Retina’s first Choreographic Lab at Dance4. Classes and feedback from Filip and Natalie contributed to their choreographic process and movement creation period, which culminated in their work integrated into the final performance.
