Retina’s first dance film commissioned for BBC’s Body of Water, Freeze imagines what would happen in a world where bodies are frozen in suspended animation. Three bodies are defrosting, observed by CCTV, when a new arrival is thrown in. Her energy infects the others and their bodies recollect memories and thoughts, gathering speed and momentum, until the temperature once again begins to drop.
